Differentiated Assessments with Google Forms

You can create differentiated assessments with Google Forms.  Differentiation will occur when you set up your assessment to take students to different questions based on their responses.  If a student chooses an incorrect response, then they will be taken to a page where they can either re enforce the concept or get a hint and come back to the original question to try again.  By the same token, you can take a student who answered correctly to a more challenging question.

To do this, you need to be familiar with the following:

1. How to create a Google Form (this will serve as the assessment)
2. How to use "go to page based on answer"
3. How to use "page breaks"
4. How to read the spreadsheet where student submissions will be collected.
5. How to automatically grade your assessment using "Flubaroo"
6. How to sort and analyze  student responses with sheets' charts.

You can also grade a Google document with "Goobric" This will work with a Google Document (text based)
